Common questions
How often does my hood need cleaning?
It depends on what and how much you cook. NFPA 96 sets a monthly, quarterly, six-month or yearly schedule, and your fire marshal or insurer may ask for more. We'll tell you where your kitchen falls.
Will cleaning interrupt my service?
No. We schedule the work after you close, cover the cooking line and leave the kitchen ready for the next service.
My exhaust fan stopped working. Can you fix it?
Yes. Call (202) 643-8113. We find the cause, replace the failed motor, belt, pulley or bearing, and get your hood pulling air again.
Do you work in federal and military kitchens?
Yes. Our crews already work on federal and military sites in the capital region and follow each site's access rules.
Where are you based?
We are based in Sterling, Virginia, and our crews cover Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland.
